RACEISM EVENT 2013 International Edition

Post by Silva85 » 08. Jan 2013 22:39

Hello guys and hopefully girls.

I hope it´s OK that we write this in english.

We are a group of like-minded peeps from the south of Sweden that would really like to get to know our neighbours wherever you´re from.

We are working together with Raceism, who will be our hosts for this event.

Here is info about the trip to Poland

We will like to know if there is any interest in going over to Poland, one of Europe's biggest stance events.

The plan for now is following:

We will leave on Thursday evening from Ystad at 22.00, we will arrive in Poland at 07.00 on Friday morning.

Once we have arrived we eat breakfast outside the ferry and exchange money to Zl etc.

We arrive at the hotel at 14.00 and check in, etc.
When everything is ready, we go by car to look at the place where the event will take place, everyone obviously do what they want.

Saturday morning at 08.00 we eat brekfast and leave for the event after that.
The event will go on until late night, so prepare for a long day with some crazy cars and activities.

On Saturday evening there will be a party, it will probably take place here:

Sunday is a free day, spend it however.

Monday morning at 06.00, we need to leave so we can catch the boat in time, the boat leavs at 13.00. We arrive in Ystad 20.00.

Visit us for more info.

There will be a display area and a parking area at the location. To exhibit at the display area, you need to send in some info and pictures of your car. Don't forget to write what community or crew you´ll be representing.

Send an email to southerncapital.swe@gmail.com

When your car has been approved for exhibition, you get a ticket sent home that you need to bring with you to the event in Poland.

Like us if you want to join on this seems to be a crazy trip.

Hello and welcome to the forum! :)

This one seems pretty intresting and as you already know, I have been checking different options to see what would be easiest/cheapest way to get to the Poland. One option is to take ship from Finland straight to Poland and other one is first drive to Sweden and do the same; neither are cheap though. :D I think driving straight to Poland isn't option; it would be too extreme trip for lowered cars.. Do you know anybody who is attending to show from Finland? Anybody example from No Pokemon Shit forum? .. And btw, your cars look awesome! ;)

Hello again.

Thanks for that :D If you are joining us the event will be f**king crazy. Your cars have a very high standard.

The people from no pokemon shit have just shown there interest to join us to Poland. I don't know if there are any one that will join us.

We have done some calculating for the people who drive with us from Malmö/Sweden.

The price for the boat is around 1600 sek for both ways.
If you want a cabin on the boat it will cost like 200 sek per person. We recommend that you take a cabine.

The petrol cost around 13 sek per liter in poland. and it is like 45 mil to drive in Poland.

Hotel in Poland are very cheap it will cost like 200-400 sek per night for the room and the room can you share with 3 persons.

Then it is food and a bit of party.

So if you join us you only have to calculate what it cost from Finland to Malmö/Sweden.

Hope this could help some of you a little bit.

Best Regards
SouthernCapital in cooperation with Raceism Poland

Thank you. :) Ok, it seems it's much cheaper to take boat from Sweden to Poland (from Finland it costs like ~200€ one way plus cabin and you still have to drive first to Turku). If you are driving first to Sweden then the biggest cost comes from petrol, because you have to drive around 1800km x2. :D I still need to doublecheck prices.

I mailed to Finnlines to find out about 2013 pricing and additional info. We'll see what they answer! 8-)

Anybody else interested? ;)

The Danish and Norwegian people are very interested of the event. I think that it will be like 30-40 cars that will drive from Sweden. Hope that there are some more interest from this Forum to.

Finnlines asnwered to me; they didn't yet know anything about pricing or dates, but they said that you can watch 2012 pricing because 2013 pricing is not going to differ that much. Traffic will start between Helsinki-Gdynia in april. I calculated that it's going to be cheaper (and easier) to take ship from Finland straight to Poland (at least when you take some friends with you), but only problem is dates. Last year it was wednesday and sunday evening when ships traveled between countries, but we don't know yet which days they are going to be this year (tuesday and saturday would suck big time). :D

Silva85; how much it costs to participate for event? In Finland you need usually pay some kind of fee to take your car to show area. And where do you sign up? I could believe that anyone wouldn't be accepted. :)

Mystic; They don't think that it would be any fees for the event. But if there are going to be any fee it will only be like 10 euro or something like that.

You can send a mail to southerncapital.swe@gmail.com to sign up. We will contact you as soon as we have looked at your cars.

Best regards
