I've done some thinking, and I'm leaning towards kickstarting this build again. With my newfound EV skills, I feel like I'm in a position where I could build a proper EV conversion. The build would ofcourse be linked to Dala's EV Repair somehow, and maybe in a Youtube build format. Nissan SR20VE 6-speed gearbox, mated to a Nissan Leaf EM57 motor
So the motor that I ordered from Norway is finally here. In this short video, I proceed with tearing it down so that I can start to measure if it will be even possible to mate it with the SR6speed gearbox. Enjoy!
The adapter plate & clutch adapter is now aligned and permanently attached to each other. Feels good having this crucial step completed! Check out how we managed with the adapter plate using only hand tools!
Still haven't finished the video, we are going to try and fit all fabrication needed to make the motor sit permanently in the engine bay. Another sneak peak on the axle carrier bracket fabrication progress:
So here it is. This is the most effort the videos have taken so far, I had massive problems with the axle carrier bracket. So glad this is finished now and I can focus on the battery
